In a move that’s raising eyebrows and sparking a whirlwind of speculation, American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit has announced their 2024 “Loserville Tour“, and along for the ride, quite intriguingly, is actor-turned-musician Corey Feldman, known for his roles in iconic films like “The Lost Boys” and “The Goonies“. Joining this eclectic mix are BONES, N8NOFACE, and the flamboyant Riff Raff (Aka Peach Panther, Neon Icon, & Dale Dan Tony), who’s set to host and MC each night of the tour.

The tour, kicking off in Somerset, WI on July 16, will journey through 24 North American cities, including Toronto, Charlotte, and San Bernardino, wrapping up on August 24. It’s an ambitious lineup that seems to blend a mix of styles and eras, with Feldman’s inclusion being a interesting one.
Feldman’s music career, to put it mildly, hasn’t exactly set the Spotify charts on fire. With a modest following that hovers around 10,000 monthly listeners, it’s apparent that his musical endeavors haven’t captured the public’s imagination in the way his acting career did. In fact, the playlists featuring Feldman’s music seem to be less about appreciation and more about a certain ironic enjoyment (Or lack-thereof) of his unique style.

This booking could be seen as a clever, if unorthodox, publicity move by Limp Bizkit. Feldman, with his offbeat charm and unpredictable antics, could add an element of surprise and intrigue to the tour. It’s a bit like inviting that one friend in the group who’s not quite in sync with everyone else but brings a certain, shall we say, ‘colorful’ energy to proceedings. Feldman’s presence is a wildcard that could either be a masterstroke or a head-scratcher, depending on your perspective.

There’s also a theory floating around that Feldman’s whole musical persona might be an elaborate ruse. His over-the-top performances, like those on the Today show, have led some to speculate whether this is all a calculated act to reclaim the spotlight. Is Corey Feldman the mad genius of self-promotion, or is this just another chapter in the career of an entertainer who refuses to be pigeonholed? Either way, his inclusion on the Loserville Tour is sure to add an extra layer of fascination – or at least curiosity – to what promises to be an eventful series of concerts.
