Boardwalk Rock 2025 Lineup: Team Behind 'When We Were Young' Bringing Hard Rock To Ocean City

Ocean City, Maryland, is set to hold the inaugural Boardwalk Rock festival on May 17-18, 2025. Produced by C3 Presents—the same team behind major festivals like ‘Lollapalooza‘ and ‘Austin City Limits’ and the recently canceled ‘Sick New World’.

Headliners and Lineup

Leading the charge for this beachfront festival are ‘Hair Metal Heavyweights’ Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, headlining the first of two nights. The second night will feature new millennium hard rock titans Nickelback and Shinedown as they bring the festival to a close. Supporting acts include the newly reunited Crossfade, making their return after a 12-year hiatus, along with Three Days Grace. Personally, I’m hoping they bring both Adam Gontier and Matt Walst to share vocal duties—it would be incredible to see both eras of the band represented on stage. Rounding out the lineup: Alice Cooper, Halestorm, Bush, Chevelle, 3 Doors Down, Bret Michaels, and more.

C3 Presents, the team behind mega-festivals like ‘Lollapalooza‘ and ‘When We Were Young’ will be handling the production of the Ocean City Festival. Despite the buzz surrounding the unfortunate cancellation of their other high-profile event, Sick New World (originally expected to host both Metallica and Linkin Park). The Festival production team seems to have no hesitation to continue their streak of large scale live music experiences.
